![]() ![]() ![]() The boat was stocked with water, beer, pop, pastries and sandwiches - pastries and sandwiches were delicious!! They also had a great sense of humour as laughs were had by all! Jonathan and Fernando were informative about local ecosystems. Even though it was the “off season”, we were all exhausted from all the tarpon action! Jonathan and Fernando were excellent coaches, helping us learn how best to haul in the monsters. ![]() One tarpon after another! It seemed like we were hauling in those powerful fish all day! After a 10 minute boat ride, they had our lines in the water and within a minute or two we were hooked up!!! He and Fernando greeted us and took us right to the fish. Jonathan picked us up promptly at 6am both of our fishing days. Nice rooms, salt water pool, no complaints. Our accommodations at the Crews Inn were excellent. He was an excellent driver, even in heavy traffic! He drove a well maintained van with lots of space which made for a comfortable ride to the hotel. Stephan was there waiting for us to clear customs. Upon arrival in Trinidad, Jonathan arranged to have a driver pick us up at the airport. He was always prompt to reply to my messages and even reserved our hotel rooms for us! Jonathan answered all of my questions and made the “pre-travel” process stress free. I communicated with Jonathan via email to make all the travel/fishing arrangements. We were a group of four - my dad, my sister, a family friend and myself. I travelled to T&T in late March 2019 from Canada for the sole purpose of fishing with Captain Jonathan with Monsta Tarpon. ![]()
